Jessica Ranavaya is a Broker Associate, and member of technology committee at Keller Williams Realty in Fayetteville, NC. Active in the real estate industry for over a year Jessica is familiar with what to takes to succeed in today’s tough real estate market. An entrepreneur for the past 5 years Jessica has also created a successful security and structural wiring business with her husband.
“Behind the Scenes”
Born and raised in Rochester, NY my family and I moved to a small town near Lumberton, NC when I was about 14. I graduated top 10 in my class from High School in 1998 and was granted a full scholarship to Fayetteville State University where I majored in Business Administration on an MBA track. Come to find out I am no good at Statistic and not much better at Economics so after 3 years I moved to University of North Carolina at Greensboro and changed my major to Interior Architecture.
In 2003 my husband & I got married, then started our own business installing residential and commercial Hughesnet Internet Satellite Systems. Over the years we have moved around following the work, and our business expanded to include home theatre, security camera, CCTV, VoIP, and commercial structure pre-wiring.
In 2007 we decided to settle down in Fayetteville, NC since both our families are near by, plus my husband grew up here, and we both met while working here in college. It was a natural choice. I chose to branch out into real estate after working with a great agent in VA for a year, as an assistant part-time. It was a chance for me to gain some insight into the field before venturing into it for myself. I liked the idea of helping people make one of the biggest decisions they will ever make. I am also an avid “house junkie”.
I have found real estate to be an outlet to combine my business experience, architectural knowledge, and my joy of helping people. How lucky am I to find an occupation that lets me indulge in all my interests. I hope you enjoy my blog.
